In recent days, A clip of the veteran actor Firdous Jamal went surfacing online on social media. In the clip, he's invited as a guest at a live show, and when asked about the Actress Mahira Khan, he had something to say..

Firdous Jamal while excusing himself told the host he thinks she's not a heroine material and that she is of an older age and now should be doing roles of a mother instead of a heroine, he even called her a mediocre of a model. That didnt settle well with some of the people from the industry including Osman khalid butt, Humayun Saeed , Mawra Hocane and many others. They took to social media to address what he said and well, some had really mean things to say to Firdous in response to his remarks about Mahira.

Well well, This doesn't end here. Because Firdous Jamal isn't on social media, His son took to twitter and responded in his defense. He lashed out on everybody who labelled his father as a misogynist claiming that he praised Mahira in the same interview his father criticized her.
