Shamoon Abbasi is all set to stun the audience with his power packed performance in his upcoming directorial film Durj. The makers dropped another teaser of the suspense thriller and by all means, it is bloody intense.

The 40- second teaser begins with a vicious and daring Shamoon confronting Maira Khan regarding no offence found in the constitution for cannibalism. The scene and visuals are shot very aesthetically and cannibalism is depicted with emotions that unveil the reality of such people.

We asked Shamoon to answer the million dollar question regarding the release of Durj in Pakistan to which he said “As of now it’s a secret that we will reveal within the next two weeks. Durj is surely coming to Pakistan and it isn’t far from the global release. Films theatrical trailer is playing in cinemas across Pakistan from today onwards. Durj is Pakistan, made in Pakistan for Pakistan".

Set to release on October 11, 2019 globally Durj isn’t a biopic; it’s a thriller based on true events that took place in Pakistan 2013. The highly anticipated film became a member of Societe Des Realisateurs De Films (The Society of Film Directors). The project is helmed by Shamoon himself and is produced by Sherry Shah and Dodi Khan. It is distributed by ABA associates and Zashko films (USA, UK, Canada, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Norway). The craze for the film is immense and we simply can’t wait for the film to get released in theaters.
