One actor who we have seen grow immensely in the field of drama is the singer turned actor Junaid Khan whom we loved in Sun Yara and became a die-hard fan of his talent after this. Having given stellar performances on the small screen in plays like Khasara *, *Hania *, *Ishq Tamasha to name a few and currently in Yaariyan it seems that Junaid is all set to rock the big screen too.

Making his film debut opposite Mansha Pasha, whose movie Laal Kabootar is winning love all over, in a chat with us Junaid revealed,

'I am playing the character of a policeman and the movie holds a strong message about the issues that plague our society. The script is penned down by Ali Moeen and will be directed by Jalal Roomi'.

So why choose this particular project was what we had to ask next as we know for a fact that Junaid did receive many offers even before he gave a nod for this one to which he replied,

'I have been offered a lot of films since my cameo appearance in Bin Roye which was released in 2014 but to be honest, I was waiting for the right team and a good script to work with so finally took the leap of faith and decided to cross over to the big screen '.
