Hocane and Adeel Hussain are teaming up for the first time for a Hum TV drama; the actors will appear in Daasi as the main leads, teasers for which are out now. The drama is set to air on the 16th of September.

Talking to a local channel, Mawra revealed about the character she's playing, she said 'The story features Mawra playing a dynamic character named Sunehri. She lives in a small neighborhood community with her mother, who is a single parent. She's extremely caring and strong-willed and is described as daring; if someone dares raise a finger at her, she has the capability to break their finger and chooses to fight fire with fire."

The teasers look promising as it is but the OST was just released. The direction is done by Mohsin Talat, the song is penned by Misbah Nausheen and the lyrics are done by Ali Moeen.

The song is sung by Wajji Ali while the D.O.P is done by Khalil Ahmed ( Kaka ). The promotion is done by Muhammad Faisal (FK ) and Produced by Moomal Entertainment.

The song is nicely done, the lyrics are beautifully written and they tell a beautiful yet sad tale. Wajji Ali has done a beautiful job lending his voice but we feel the song isn't catchy and lacks depth. Meanwhile, the story as per OST is ending up with lovers not marrying each other.

Let;s hope we don't have the same to say about the Drama.
