The surprising debut actress for the year definitely would be awarded to the beautiful songstress Hadiqa Kiani who played made her thundering debut with Raqeeb Se alongside industry veterans Noman Ejaz and Sania Saeed. Kiani essayed the role of the innocent Sakina with utter grace and poise and left viewers wondering why she didn’t chose to act earlier on! The singer turned actress is currently playing Mehru in drama serial Dobara, paired opposite Bilal Abbas Khan. Kudos to her for making a mark on viewers with her phenomenal acting skills.
Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY)
Making a surprising debut onto the small screens, hailing from the fashion world, renown fashion designer, Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) was seen as the notorious Akram Bhaijaan in ARY Digital’s Pehli Si Muhabbat alongside Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munavar. In a completely unconventional role, HSY proved he was just as talented as the other actors with whom she shared screen space with.
Following his father,Naumaan Ejaz’s footsteps, Zaviyar Ejaz has recently made his entry into the drama industry with his role in Qissa Meherbano Ka, he plays the earnest, kind and boy-next-door, Murad who is hopelessly in love with Mehru (Mawra Hocane). While his first drama is still on air, the junior prodigy in making has another blockbuster in the making lined up. He will soon be seen in Sang e Mah alongside senior performers Naumaan Ejaz, Sania Saeed and Omair Rana.
Social media sensation, Arsalan Naseer of Comics by Arsalan fame made his way to the Pakistani drama industry with the role of Hadi in Ramadan special transmission, ‘Chupke Chupke’. He is known for his parody videos and comic banter and that’s just what he brought to the super-hit show.
The gorgeous newcomer, Aymen Saleem is surely a beauty with brains. The starlet wowed viewers with her quirky, cute and a little nerdy look in Chupke Chupke paired opposite fellow debutant Arsalan Naseer. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing her on our screens once again!
