The 22nd LUX Style Awards nominees have been officially revealed and netizens including Pakistani celebrities have a lot to say about the nominations! The coveted silver trophy will be awarded to the exceptional work done in the year 2022 by people from the music, film, tv and fashion industry in Pakistan.

In the fashion categories, popular model Mushk Kaleem has a lot to say about the nominations. The model has not been nominated in any of the categories this year.

“Looking at the LUX Style Awards fashion nominations, at this point, they should just completely cancel all fashion awards.”

Yumna Zaidi has been nominated for her phenomenal role in Bakhtawar while Hania Amir has bagged a mention for her drama Mere Humsafar. In the newcomer category Arsalan Naseer thanked his fans for voting for him and for all the support he has been shown since he joined the showbiz industry.

“Thank you for all the love, guys. You have made an outsider like me, with no contacts whatsoever, survive in this industry…I owe you all big-time.”

In the films category Joyland and London Nahi Jaunga are heading the categories while Abdulla Siddiqui reigns the music category for multiple nominations.

On the other hand a lot of pivotal actors and actresses seem to be missing from the nominations such as Maya Ali and Wahaj Ali for their blockbuster periodic drama, Jo Bichar Gaye, while super-star Mehwish Hayat seems to be missing from the best actress nomination in the critic and viewers’ choice for her film London Nahi Jaunga.

We are glad to see debut writer Amar Khan bagging a nomination for the critics' choice of best film for her movie Dum Mastam.

Actress Rabya Kulsoom also points out a surprising nomination for Atif Aslam who has been nominated in the emerging TV talent category, while the singer and actor did debut on television with Sang e Mah, he has debuted on the silver screen eons ago alongside Mahira Khan.
