ARY Digital Network celebrates 15 years of success

ARY Digital Network, one of the leading television networks of Pakistan, is all set to celebrate its 15th anniversary on September 16. The celebration will be a telethon of sorts and will be telecast live from different stations in Karachi, Lahore, Dubia, USA, and The UK.

With headquarter being in Karachi, the channel was launched in 2000 and is the brain child of Dubai based Pakistani businessman Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob (ARY) and is now headed by his son Salman Iqbal.

CEO of ARY Digital Network Jerjees Seja expressed his excitement for successfully completing 15 years in media history with great achievements on the credit.

“This is the big milestone in media history of Pakistan and we are super excited to celebrate it with zeal,” he said while talking to HIP.

Apart from news, ARY Digital Network has expanded its reach through infotainment, entertainment, news, and films. By 2004, the network had launched three sister ventures including ARY News, a 24hr news channel; ARY Musik, a channel focusing on Pakistani music scene, and ARY Qtv, a religious channel.

The television network has taken a step forward by launching ARY Films – a film production and distribution company. So far it has released leading Pakistani movies including Waar, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi, Josh, Chambaili, Zinda Bhaag, Siyaah and Lamha. The latest venture, Jawani Phir Nahi Aani is to release next week on Eid - ul- Adha with Janaan and Dobara Phir Se shoots having already completed their first spells.
