Haseeb Hasan’s blockbuster serial Nanhi starring Sajal Ali, Shahood Alvi, and Javed Sheikh in lead roles, is all set to air on Zindagi from January 14.

While all the leading plays have been making their way to Indian audience this play will sure to touch their hearts with its heart wrenching story.

Nanhi will air on Zindagi from 14 January 2016 every Monday to Saturday at 10:20pm. The drama revolves around a girl named Nanhi who was brought up by a woman named Shamoo. Although Shamoo is a nurse by profession, she is in the dirty business of stealing babies from the hospital and trading them for money. Nanhi is also not her real daughter, but she treats her really well. Shamoo often brings kidnapped babies to home providing Nanhi a chance to spend quality time with them. Being so used to small babies’ presence, the fifteen years old girl now wants her own child as she is tired of taking care of others' babies.

The drama brought great TRP for the channel and was nominated in all major categories in the 13th Lux Style Awards 2014 including Best serial, Best Actress, Best writer, and Best director. Haseeb Hasan won The Best Director award for the serial.
