Iqra Aziz was proposed to on a beautiful night of the LSA award show. It's safe to say it was one of the main highlights of the show. Yasir Hussain bent down his knees and expressed his love for his now to be wife.

Definitely was a surreal moment for the gorgeous diva and the very romantic Yasir Hussain but people were quick to comment and they had a major clawback from the viewers and the fans online.

Last night, Iqra went onto her social media to set the record straight, she also went onto address the claims that the proposal was staged. She went to defend her beau and finally shut down the haters! The ‘Suno Chanda’ actor took to social media to silence the hate and also show them that its all white noise to her except for all the love and prayers she's gotten.

“This joy of mine is so huge that good wishes and prayers are the only things that I can hear. Love is to express, not to impress,” wrote Iqra. She added, “My man expressed his love in front of the world which takes a lot of guts and I am blissful you’re my ZING.”

While addressing the backlash, she also spoke about the hate she was receiving over the PDA and the proposal being planned.

She goes to say “ To whom it may concern: If a girl, during her proposal, chooses to enjoy the moment with laughter instead of shedding tears, one is not supposed to say that all of this was planned.” She told people not to rain on her parade and wait for their own happy days to come instead.

Both the lovers seem to be enjoying their time together and really living in the moment, We think that's the way to be. Let live and let god. Tell us what do you think about the way Iqra handled the situation?
