Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam & Aiman Khan Make It to Forbes Asia List

The Forbes Asia's 100 Digital Stars List features celebrities from all over Asia who have accomplished something great in their respective fields, enough to be noticed abroad and represent Pakistan on a global platform.

Those who made it to the list from Pakistan included the superhit O Saathi singer Atif Aslam, Superstar's Mahira Khan, and Bay Dardi star Aiman Khan. All 3 of the stars representing Pakistan on the Forbes 100 list from the Asian Pacific region have made monumental contributions to the media industry in the country, whether it be through social media, film, drama or music.

Atif Aslam, Aiman Khan and Mahira Khan all have an incredible social media presence, which is highlighted further when noticed on an international level, making them the chosen celebrities to make Pakistan proud by being elected to appear on the list of 100 influential digital stars in Asia.

The Forbes 100 list described the stars as follows:

Atif Aslam -

'Released in May, his song “Asma-ul-Husna,” recites Allah’s 99 names to encourage hope during the pandemic, and has over 22 million views on YouTube. Aslam urged his 20 million Facebook followers to stay home to curb the spread of the coronavirus.'

Mahira Khan -

'The star of Pakistani musical Superstar will return to the screen this year in action drama The Legend of Maula Jatt, Pakistan’s most expensive film to date. Khan uses her social media presence—nearly 7 million Instagram followers and over 4 million on Facebook—to raise awareness about mental health issues, violence against women and breast cancer.'

Aiman Khan -

'With nearly 8 million followers, Khan is the most-followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram. She and twin sister Minal run the clothing site Aiman Minal Closet, with 249,000 Instagram followers. Last year she was nominated for Best Actress at Pakistan’s Hum Awards for roles in TV shows Ishq Tamasha and Baandi.'
