It’s that time of the year again when all the glitz and glamour of the showbiz industry comes together to celebrate the illustrious Lux Style Awards, this year marked the 20th Anniversary of the awards ceremony. Our favourite stars came out to support their fraternity members who were nominated for various categories in film and drama.
To honour the 20th Anniversary of the lux Style Awards the stage sizzled with Mahira Khan, Mehvish Hayat, Meera, Resham and Ahsan Khan who performed on a special anthem marking two decades of the awards. The anthem was directed by Bilal Maqsood and was sung by singers Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Uzair Jaswal, Natasha Baig and Youngstunners.
Amar Khan was seen hosting the red carpet and presented the Geo Lux Style segment full of wit looking like a million bucks in a drop dead gorgeous white saree. We loved her interviews on the red carpet with all of our favourite stars!
The most talked about and anticipated part of the LSA is always the red carpet, which stars painted the town red with their look while unfortunately some needed the fashion police to intervene immediately!
Let’s dig in and take a look at who was wearing what, actors that wowed us and looks that we absolutely disapproved of. We’ve got it all covered here:
Celebrities that brought their 'A - Game' to the LSA 2021 Red Carpet - The Best Dressed!
Ahsan Khan & Mehwish Hayat
The dapper Ahsan Khan was hosting the Lux Style Awards this year alongside Mehwish Hayat and we absolutely love the burgundy tuxedo donned by Khan and while Mehwish Hayat dazzled in the deep burgundy body hugging gown by luxury fashion brand Zamanay. The two made a great pair hosting the event, we’d definitely love to see them on-screen soon!
The red-carpet host for the evening wore a fusion white saree for the night with a sleek back ponytail. Khan exuded uber-grace styled by Khadeeja Khan for the night.
Always looking her ultimate best, host of the night Ayesha Omar looked like a million bucks in both her looks for the big night. Sexy in the sleek black gown by Hussain Rehar and right out of a fairy-tale in the gold shimmery number by La Bourjoisie, Ayesha was easily one of the best dressed stars at the LSA.
Ahmed Ali Butt & Fatima Khan
One of the hosts at the LSA, Ahmed Ali Butt stole the show with his dapper look for the night in a black and gold tuxedo by Humayun Alamgir. Joined by his uber-gorgeous wife Fatima Khan in a bespoke red gown by couture brand, Reign that surely grabbed some eyeballs.
The ever-green Resham brought sexy back in this chic green gown giving the younger stars a run for their money!
Supermodel turned actress Sunita Marshal looked exquisite in a drapped saree gown by ace fashion couture brand, Zuriador.
Looks we wish could have been better - The Worst Dressed
Failing miserably with the wet-hair look, Mira Sethi needs to be looking for a new stylist ASAP!
With an over the top makeup look and white sari accessorized with chunky jewellery, yesteryear supermodel Nadia Khan failed to impress us this time with the look she chose for the LSA’s.
The ill-fitted blue gown was wrong in a number of ways for the gorgeous Mansha, she however saved the day with the black gown she donned for her second look.
The icy blue one shoulder pleated dress with a puffy statement sleeve, paired with a sleek bun failed to do any wonders for Saboor at the LSA this year. Saboor seems to have found inspiration from Bollywood’s darling Aishwarya Rai for this look.
