Things heated up in the previous episodes after Hassan's evil plan to defame Khajista backfired, and now Khajista and Hadi are in hot water for being together in an inappropriate location. However, seeing Hadi's persistent love for her and Hassan's hatred, Khajista fears for her future in the city and wishes to return to her village.

Every week, Mere Humnasheen's grippingly unique story wins hearts. Mere Humnasheen, starring Ahsan Khan, Hiba Bukhari, and Shehzad Sheikh, is written by Misbah Ali Syed and directed by Ali Faizan. It is the story of a bright young girl from a rural area who overcomes her regressive customs and traditions to become the first lady doctor in her area. While her endless struggles continue, she is also bound by her engagement to marry her conservative cousin Darakhzai (Ahsan Khan). Her fellow doctor Hadi (Shehzad Sheikh), on the other hand, has fallen in love with her after witnessing her determination to achieve her goals.

The episodes were a mix of good and bad events. Hassan's (Haris Waheed) and Aima's (Moomal Khalid) evil schemes for Khajista have failed. The entire situation has landed Hadi and Khajista in hot water because she was the only one who discovered Dr. Hadi injured, and that too in the lab. However, thankfully, Khajista was not scared of Hasan and did not choose to remain silent about everything that happened, as is typical of damsels in distress in most dramas these days.

Dr. Shehryar (Farhan Aly Agha) believed Khajista and decided to send Hassan abroad due to his vile behaviour. Hadi's parents now fully support his decision to marry Khajista and have stopped pressuring him to marry Aima. However, as expected, Aima is dissatisfied with Hadi's parents' support, as is her mother (Seemi Pasha). When Dr. Shehryar informs his sister about ending Aima and Hadi's engagement, she becomes enraged and declares that she will no longer have any relationship with them. She also asks Aima to leave their home and travel to London, which she refuses and instead shifts in the hostel to calm her mother down. Before leaving, Aima warns Hadi that while his feelings for Khajista are strong, she hasn't given up on him either and will fight for him.

Back in the village, Amroze (Syed Jibran) and Shanzay (Momina Iqbal) are finally getting along as husband and wife. Darakhzai (Ahsan Khan) appears to be evolving as well. Darakhzai is constructing a women's hospital on his land for Khajista to practise and help the women in their community. When Amroze asks if he is in love with Khajista or if it is just a matter of honour, he appears perplexed, and it appears that he, too, is finally thinking of Khajista as a person rather than a commodity to rule over.

Khajista, on the other hand, is baffled by how low Hassan can stoop in his hatred for her and fears for her safety and honour. She decides to return to her village instead of attending her convocation, where she will be awarded 12 GOLD MEDALS!!

Dr. Aima and her hostel friends appear to be hatching yet another nefarious plot to frame Khajista. She admonishes Dr. Hadi when he tells her about his parents visiting her village to formally request her proposal, claiming that this will cause her more problems.

These episodes were fantastic in terms of breaking the stereotypes set in most dramas, where a man never gets caught because the women never speak out against them. The best part was the perpetrator's own father punishing his son and believing what he was told. It was also heartening to see Darkhzai change, and despite only having a few scenes, Ahsan Khan's transformation from a hot-headed Darakhzai to a rather caring Darakhzai deserves praise. His change in body language and tone of voice clearly demonstrates how fully immersed he is in his character.

The upcoming episodes will be extremely difficult for Khajista, as Dr. Aima and her friends intend to jeopardise her entire reputation and career. Do you think Khajista's life will continue to become more complicated, or will it get any better?
