Legendary Pakistani Comedian Ismail Tara Passes Away

It is indeed a sad day for Pakistan’s entertainment industry for we have lost a gem ‘Ismail Tara’. The comedian breathed his last in Karachi on Thursday. His funeral prayer will be held after Friday prayer.

The legend was admitted to a private hospital in the city due to some health ailments. However, he was on a ventilator and died due to kidney failure.

All those who have been fond of the evergreen PTV show ‘50-50’ would remember Ismail Tara and his comical bits. He rose to fame from the show and has worked in as many as 14 Lollywood movies including Haathi Mere Saathi, Aakhri Mujra, Munda Bigra Jaye, Chief Sahib, and Deewarein.

The star was born on November 16, 1949. The showbiz fraternity is grieved by his sudden demise and is pouring down their condolences upon the deceased’s family.
