Yet another exciting week of Neeli Zinda Hai succeeds to keep us an ardent fan of the story!

The performances keep getting better and the story keeps getting spicier. Starring Urwa Hocane, Mohib Mirza, Sonia Mishaal, and Jinaan Hussain in leading roles, the drama is directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, written by Adeel Razzaq, and produced by Six Sigma.

With more added spookiness and suspense in the horror saga, the latest episode revolved more twists and turns for us to get hooked to! Let’s take a quick review of the recent plot updates in Neeli Zinda Hai.

Nagina paves way for Dilawer’s entry into the house

We saw little of Neeli in this episode as compared to those in the past. But she is getting stronger and stronger with every passing episode.

She openly becomes visibly in front of Sumbu while she is around Ammar- who is totally unaware of the paranormal activity in his house. Our hauntingly stunning ghosts threaten Sumbul with her deep blue eyes and scares the living daylights out of her. She tries to strangle her as Sumbul takes her medicines, making her all the more hysterical.

Minal (Tehreem) is observing all that is happening in the home. Though she cannot speak, she feels for her mother and feels extremely lonely. Neeli takes advantage of this sadness developing in Minal, brainwashing her that she will always be there for her as her parents don’t care for her.

Meanwhile, Meherbano sends a spy of a friend to find out if Sumbul is expecting again. However, this time, our heroine turns savage and ensures her mother-in-law’s gossip buddy returns with nothing to tell.

Amaan gets injured as he fights back with the goons who want to take over his plot. He is determined to fight them and is all set to lodge a complaint to the police, only to get stopped by his father.

All spotlight was on Nagina (Jinaan Hussain) in this episode as she leaves no stone unturned to convince Sumbul about her mother-in-law and her black magic doings. In real, she is paving a way for Dilawer to enter the scene and take control of the ‘Neeli situation’ in the house.

So much so, she and the hermit plant some lemons in the house, some black from inside and the rest oozing red color to scare Sumbul. They succeeded indeed and she is now convinced that her mother-in-law wants to steal her home, her husband, and the peace in her life

Sonia Mishal’s savage side was a treat to watch!

We have sung enough praises about Neeli Zinda Hai and so far, the drama has gotten a thumbs up from team Hip. From the plot, direction to performances; everything has been done to perfection. Mohib Mirza never ceases to impress us and his aggressive side is becoming more prominent as his character is turning stern with every passing episode.

Jinan Hussain, as always, is our favorite as the naïve Nagina. It’s a treat to watch her as she fiddles in her awkwardness to protect her mistress and help Dilawer in his aim at the same time. Urwa Hocane looks even more beautiful as Neeli in every episode. In that same look, same red dress, freckled face, and blue eyes; she has a charming screen-presence and is nailing her ghostly avatar.

Sonia Mishal has been great so far as the hysterical wife who gets silent, turns meek to avoid any fights in her marriage. We loved her acting as she dealt with the nosy guest in her house, turning sour with the right dialogue delivery and expression. It was a change in her character that Sonia portrayed well and gave us some laughs as we viewed it.

Fingers crossed for the upcoming turn of events in Neeli Zinda Hai! Till then, stay tuned to Hip in Pakistan for more news and updates.
