It’s time when Pakistan’s cricket aficionados have nothing but PSL 2022 on their mind. After all, the most exciting event for the entire country begins tomorrow and now even Imran Khan has officially opened the tournament in great style and pizzaz!

In an exciting promotional clip rolled out on Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf’s (PTI) social media accounts, the premiere can be seen welcoming PSL and pumping up the teams to give their best till the last ball. However, he isn’t alone in the video. His former teammate Ramiz Raja has joined him in the dramatic campaign, inviting him to open the league and give his blessings to the team. The video is packed with savvy effects and flaunts upbeat music to match the PSL frenzy in the air.

While it surely seems an impressive attempt and got thumbs up from IK fans; it has a striking resemblance to London Olympics 2012 campaign. ft UK’s Queen Elizabeth and Hollywood star, Daniel Craig aka James Bond.

The video has resurfaced on social media, igniting a buzz that PCB took inspiration from the iconic Olympic 2012 opening, to create a similar version for PSL 2022.

Like Ramiz Raja, Daniel Craig can be seen greeting the queen and inviting her to officially inaugurate the London Olympics 2012.
