Disney +'s Ms Marvel has created quite the buzz surrounding its release, it is based on the first-ever Pakistani Muslim superhero, Kamala Khan. While fans await anxiously looking for alternatives to watch the show as the Disney+ platform is not available easily in the country.

Oscar-winning film maker, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has just announced that Ms Marvel will be released in cinemas across Pakistan! Fans no longer need to wait it out and will be able to watch their new favourite superhero in action and can infact watch Kamala Khan on the silver screen.

Here's what Sharmeen Obaid announced on her Instagram account to her fans and followers:

"BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! I have exciting news to share: An Eid present for Pakistan! We are bringing Ms Marvel to theaters across the country! Marvel Studios’ Ms Marvel to be released in cinemas in Pakistan."

The Ms. Marvel series will be released for Pakistani fans in cinemas where the show will be split into three seperate sessions of two episodes each. As per Chinoy's Instagram post, the first two episodes will be aired on 16th June while episode 3 and 4 will follow on 30th June. Episodes 5 and 6 will debut on 14th July. The episodes will release in Pakistan simultaneously while it airs on the Disney+ platform to prevent leaks before Pakistani fans get the chance to view the series on the silver screen.

Chinoy further added,

This decision was made to celebrate the introduction of the first Pakistani Marvel superhero, Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani), into the MCU. The series also features a diverse cast both in front of and behind the camera. Disney and Marvel did not want Pakistani audiences to miss out on seeing Ms Marvel and her story as Disney+ has not yet launched in their country.

Ms Marvel features Iman Vellani as the Pakistani super hero Kamala Khan. The show also stars our very own Pakistani actors Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat and Nimra Bucha while filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is directing some of the episodes.
