Bollywood's darling Alia Bhatt recently took to her Instagram account to share news of her pregnancy, the announcement of her child with husband Ranbir Kapoor sent shock waves across social media. Bollywood informants, media pages, blogs and news channels were buzzing with this piece of good news. However, in line with all the best wishes and prayers for the happy couple, there was some trolling going on to some extent.

An Indian media outlet had reported that Alia Bhatt would now be taking some rest and would be 'brought' back to India by her husband. The Brahmastra actress slammed the outlet saying she was a woman and not a parcel that would need to be brought by her husband.

While many Indian personalities and celebrities supported Alia Bhatt and lauded her for calling out the agency, our very own actress Zara Noor Abbas was in tow to appreciate what the Bollywood diva had to say.

Zahra Noor Abbas has been a victim of bullying where trolls have often targeted her weight, clothing choices and much more. Having experienced something similar to Alia Bhatt it seems like the Badshah Begum star could whole-heartedly relate to Bhatt and spoke out in favour for her!

“And I thought only Pakistan thinks like this, specially when brands wanted to drop me off when they got to know I was expecting - Becoming pregnant and being an actress makes the society feel you are not good for work anymore. Well guess what, WOMEN are good enough for everything and anything and it's time the dictators realise so. We don't have to prove our motherhood and craft to any patriarchy."

Kudos to Abbas for raising her voice against such sexist remarks that women face in their everyday lives.
