The showbiz fraternity of Pakistan is considered to be like a family who stand up for what’s wrong and speak their mind against injustices that take place around us. And like there is an odd man out in every family, there is a black sheep even in the entertainment industry and his name is Yasir Hussain.

In a recent TV show ‘Ghabrana Mana Hai’ on ARY Digital, Yasir Hussain appeared as a celebrity guest and spoke his mind with host Vasay Chaudhry. However the situation got out of hand when Vasay Chaudhry asked his guest about the ‘uninvited guests’ at his wedding and he replied with the name of seasoned actress Nausheen Shah.

Now even if Nausheen Shah did go to the wedding without being uninvited, Yasir Hussain could have stayed quiet and the question would have been edited out of the show. However, since he is controversy’s favourite child and always likes to stay in the news with his comments, he chose to name her and along with the host, shamed her on her being single, still. Whether Nausheen Shah stays single or gets married, that’s her choice and nobody, even her closest friends have the right to judge her on that. However, Vasay Chaudhry and Yasir Hussain chose to venture into that territory and were criticized for their conduct. Some called their show vulgar and boring while others asked them to apologize to the actress.

Yasir Hussain and his trail of Controversies

Yasir’s controversies are many and have landed him in hot waters too often. He faced the brunt of the entire social media after he cracked a distasteful joke on child molestation and sexual abuse at the Hum Style Awards, after receiving major backlash he finally apologised for what he said.

Fast forward to 2019, Yasir Hussain was playing a double role in a Telefilm 'Help Me Durdana', and posted a picture of himself wearing a saree. When someone asked him on his Instagram post why they don’t hire transgenders for these roles, instead of replying sensibly, he chose to mock the person by saying, “Matlab aap ko Job Chahiye?” Social media users called him out for this he apologized again for the poor ‘joke’ he cracked.

Just recently, after the Dirilis: Ertugrul craze took over the entire Pakistan, as our Premier also recommended watching the super-hit Turkish drama, it seems Yasir couldn’t digest the popularity it received and called it “garbage” and mentioned that it would be ruining the industry. He was also not in support of local brands hiring Turkish stars as ambassadors.

His controversies with fellow stars and colleagues are many, from calling Mahira Khan a bad ‘actor’ to questioning Mansha Pasha’s Laal Kabootar being Pakistan;s entry to the Oscars, he has also commented on Hania Amir’s appearance when she had acne scars. Back to the present his ongoing spat with Nausheen Shah seems to be escalating every second!

Nausheen Shah Chooses to be the Bigger Person!

Nausheen Shah on the other hand showed that she was the bigger person here and didn’t respond to the below the belt comments made by Yasir and Vasay. Galaxy Lollywood reached out to the actress and she said, “Could anyone go someone’s house uninvited? I wouldn’t go to anyone’s house if I wasn’t invited, let alone going to someone’s wedding.”
