The buzz around town these days has been the recent nominations announced by the Lux Style Awards to be held this year which will mark its historic 20 years. Celebrating some of the best talent in the industry, the awards has a special category for the best emerging talent for the year. The nominations in this category include; Dur e Fishan Saleem for Dilruba, Adnan Samad Khan for Ehd e Wafa, Ameer Gillani for Sabaat, Nazish Jehangir for Kahin Deep Jalay and master Pehlaaj Hassan for Alif.

From those nominated for the emerging talent category, Dur e Fishan Saleem and Adnan Samad Khan seem to have made their mark with performances that have been memorable for the audiences leading them to quickly become fan favourites.

Dur E Fishan’s Journey to Success

The gorgeous and talented Dur e Fishan Saleem has been climbing the ladder with notable performances from her debut Dilruba to her super hit drama Bharaas where she won hearts with her applaud worthy performance. Her brilliant performance in Dilruba as ‘Erum’ the noble elder sister led to her bagging a prestigious nomination from the Lux Style Awards for 2021 that are all set to take place sometime in the near future.

The young actress is currently leading the way in two blockbuster dramas, Pardes where she has stolen the spotlight amongst senior actors like Sarmad Khoosat and Shahista Lodhi with her fiery avatar as ‘Aiman’ a young woman who is ready to fight for her rights and will not sit back and have injustice thrown her way. Audiences are also happy to see Saleem in HUM TV’s ‘Juda Huay Kuch Iss Tarah’ which has received quite the warm welcome with excellent TRP’s.

Kudos to the starlet to have always chosen projects and roles that have made her stand out from the rest and helped her steal the spotlight repeatedly!

Adnan Samad Khan Stole Hearts in Ehd-e-Wafa!

The funny, brave and loving cadet ‘Gulzar Hussain’ played by Adnan Samad Khan won our hearts from his first appearance in Ehd-e-Wafa, he made us laugh uncontrollably in many scenes and his role will be remembered fondly for the longest time. Khan’s dialogue delivery, his perfect accent and comic punches made him grab eyeballs amongst the likes of Ahad Raza Mir, Osman Khalid Butt and Ahmed Ali Akbar.

Adnan’s character the very famous Gulzar Hussain from Basti Malook made quite the impression on viewers and has been adored by the masses. Fans are now anxiously waiting to see him on the screens soon!
