iDream Entertainment's Pehli Si Muhabbat boasts an impressive cast that includes, Sheheryar Munavar, Maya Ali, Saba Faisal, Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY), Rabia Butt and Nausheen Shah. The show has been directed by Anjum Shahzad, while it has been been penned down by Faiza Ifthikar.

The Plot

Rakshi's wedding festivities are officially kicking off with her Mayun, clad in yellow the bride- to- be sulks her days away while Aslam cries his heart out with his best friend Nadeem calling himself a coward for not doing anything in order to save Rakshi from this torture.

Zainab is thinking of doing the unthinkable, after her meeting with Sikander. In order to save Rakshi from Sikander she has decided to convince her to run away by giving her some money and a phone. She visits Rakshi's new home and since Nargis is unaware of who she is let's her come inside and sit with Rakshi.

The very stern Akram bhaijan (HSY) has become concerned for Aslam’s well-being and asks him to travel to Murree and nearby areas for recreation. He believes Aslam needs a break but Aslam knows the real reason he is being persuaded to go away is to avoid any mishaps during Rakshi’s wedding. Aslam refuses to run away and says he believes in facing his difficulties head on.

Sikander becomes the true villain and believes he still has a chance with Zainab even after she has refused his offer to run away and start a life together. It seems like he will become a problem for Zainab, let’s hope her husband Murad doesn’t find out about any of her secret meetings.

What is Pehli Si Muhabat About?

The play has shown the story of first-love through three couples, Rabia Butt’s Nargis who was betrayed by her ex-beau, after which she married Faizullah (Shabbir Jan). Another incomplete love story between Zainab (Uzma Hassan) and Sikander (Saleem Meraj) which has finally met its end after Zainab has realised that she was simply lost in the past but she no longer loves Sikander. The meeting between Sikander and Zainab was heart-felt but we were so happy to see Zainab get rid off Sikander for good. The third couple fighting for their first love are our favourites Aslam and Rakshi, while we have seen some hope for the two in today’s episode it is difficult to know whether Rakshi will actually be able to run away from her wedding with Sikander.

Scenes that we absolutely loved!

Sheheryar Munaver shines in the latest episode of Pehli Si Muhabbat, he nails the acting of a young man head over heels in love but helpless. All he can do is wait for some miracle, Sheheryar’s screams left us in tears.

Rabia Butt’s Nargis and Maya Ali’s Rakshi share an amazing rapport on screen, the two did start off on the wrong foot, but have grown close over time, Nargis understands Rakshi’s plight and has been through a similar situation too so is aware of the pain she is feeling and is sympathetic towards her.

Pehli Si Muhabbat's take on sibling love is beautifully shown with what Zainab and Aslam share with each other. More like best friends, the two have a sweet brother-sister bond that melts our heart each time. Talking about sibling love, Aslam’s crisis has brought him close to his elder brother Akram, the two were at loggerheads before but Akram has clearly had a change of heart after seeing Aslam suffer.
